Adding Volumes To Minishift

Update: with the latest versions of the CDK/minishift, there is a kubernetes job in the default namespace which does this for you. Very neat. Blog post remains for historical purposes.

Much of this article is based on the input from adding persistent storage to minishift cdk 3 in minutes

Firstly we need to get inside the minishift vm to create volumes:

Then, we need to use the oc client to create the openshift resources:

Et voila, you now have persistent volumes, and a registry attached to one. Watch your space(!)
